Duck Shooting: Good Sport or Cruelty?

Duck shooting season is well and truly underway with the opening day of game bird hunting last Saturday.

50,000 game bird hunters will be partaking in what is to many the highlight of the year - a month of shooting.
Hunters claim If there was no shooting season, many game birds would become pests.

​Not everyone agrees though and Simon Barnett & James Daniels spoke with Craig Shepherd from Wellington Bird Rehabilitation Trust.
