Joe the swan's amazing recovery!

Joe the swan came to us after being attacked, likely by a stoat or a domestic pet.

With injuries to her beak, wings and left leg, she’s been on a long road to recovery.

We have seen positive signs though, like running away from staff when she’s feeling particularly feisty!

It can be hard to believe that she was barely able to walk when we first met her.

We look forward to her continuing improvement!
