Bentley the Bent Beak Bird!!!

2/9/2018

Bentley (a permanent WBRT resident) has been admitted to our hospital for some supportive care after she was found with a bit of a sore leg.

Obviously, as seen in the images, Bentley also has a significant beak deformity or injury.

This is an old injury, the reason that she was originally brought to WBRT for care.
Surprisingly she has managed to adapt really well to her unique beak.

Her current injury (we speculate) was caused by a few too many male ducks trying to mate with her! No obvious breaks or fractures were located and we imagine her recovery will be swift!

Donations towards Bentley's care would be appreciated! And donations in any amount allows us to continue looking after other ducks like Bentley, who need special care!

Thank you in advance for your support!

Little Miss Jinx!

2/9/2018

Little miss Jinx! 😇

She's a beautiful, female Muscovy duck who was sadly attacked by a dog last week.

Jinx is special in that she is missing one of her digits (toes) but this is an old injury!

Luckily, she only has minor wounds from the dog attack and is on the road to a full recovery. Please send her well wishes and lots of love! 😀

To donate to help us with her care, and the care of and other birds like her - please click on this link to our GiveALittle page!

Thank you for your support!
